From Dr. Caritha Clark-Roybal's first vision trip in 2015 to our current 185-student campus and church plant, see how God has moved through faithful donors.
Dr. Caritha Clark-Roybal and her team traveled to Uganda, meeting with community leaders, educators, and parents. Witnessing the lack of free public education, the dream of the Caritha Roybal Nursery School was born.
Following Dr. Roybal's passing from breast cancer in July 2017, Bishop Jomo Thomas, Sis Timika Thomas, and the Word of Truth / Plant City church family stepped forward to ensure her vision endured.
Our 2018 mission team held consultations for a teacher training school, provided school supplies and fluoride dental varnish to all pupils, and conducted community healthcare assessments.
Our 2019 team coordinated a major shoe drive equipping >100 children with durable shoes, and hosted a community health fair providing preventative education on hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
Pastor Alex Kajubi planted Word of Truth Church of God Uganda. In 2023, the foundation acquired the land adjacent to the school, anchoring permanent campus development.
Serving pupils ages 4 through 17 with classroom lessons, nutritious daily hot meals, devoted teachers, and a loving Christian foundation.
